I don't really care about your inconcise writing, Jonathan, but I'm terribly disappointed in your treasonous content of this post lauding the evil longhorns...
Surely there has to be more to pride in your alma mater than simply hating one rival! :-) Or maybe as an outsider, I just don't understand...
There's certainly more pride in my alma mater than JUST hating our rival, we have a lot of other more constructive traditions as well. Bonfire evolved as a tradition to show our burning desire to "beat the hell out of t.u."

Doctor j, doesn't there have to be a rivalry in order to hate a rival? You accidentally confused Texas as a&m's rival, when you meant texas tech. You'd have to beat Texas sometime in the next century for there to be a rivalry. We don't hate ags, just pity them.
